Marketing Copywriter

About the role

BrakoVerse Media is seeking a culturally fluent Marketing Copywriter to shape the voice of the studio and its diverse client portfolio. You will craft compelling copy for campaigns, social media, and brand communications that capture attention, reinforce identity, and drive engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Write captions, hooks, and ad copy for active marketing campaigns across hospitality, tourism, and other client sectors.
• Develop cohesive messaging frameworks that give each client a distinct, consistent brand voice.
• Collaborate closely with graphic designers and multimedia editors to ensure copy and visuals are integrated from the start.
• Iterate and refine copy through internal review, incorporating feedback from the Director of Marketing and CEO.
• Own BrakoVerse Media’s written voice on all social platforms, positioning the studio as a premium African creative agency.
• Create copy for announcements, pitch decks, proposals, and other client‑facing documents.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of copywriting experience in a marketing, agency, or creative environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating range across campaign copy, social captions, brand voice, and long‑form content.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and performance‑driven content.
• Ability to manage multiple brand voices simultaneously without losing distinctiveness.
• Excellent written English with a sense of rhythm, brevity, and impact.
