Mechanical Technician – Maintenance of Oil Palm Processing Equipment

About the role

The Mechanical Technician will ensure timely maintenance and repair of oil palm processing equipment at Twifo Oil Palm Plantations Limited. The role involves following standard operating procedures to keep plant operations running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on twin‑screw press, digesters and centrifuge equipment.
• Service, fabricate and maintain multiple and single‑stage centrifugal slurry, water and vacuum pumps.
• Weld and fabricate fans, impellers, storage tanks and other processing equipment parts.
• Maintain elevators, air compressors and conduct inspection, lubrication and repair of pressure vessels such as boilers, air‑compressor receivers and oil‑palm sterilising vessels.
• Inspect and maintain crude palm and kernel oil tanks.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering Technician Part II qualification.
• Minimum three (3) years post‑qualification experience in plant maintenance.
• Based in the Central Region of Ghana.

• Mechanical maintenance of oil‑palm processing machinery.
