MSME Associate – Business Development

About the role

The MSME Associate will lead Solis Finance’s efforts to grow its loan and deposit portfolio with micro, small and medium enterprises. You will build and manage relationships, acquire new clients, and ensure our products meet the specific needs of MSMEs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute strategies to increase MSME loan disbursements and deposit mobilisation.
• Identify and acquire new MSME customers through partnerships, direct sourcing and business development activities.
• Cross‑sell and upsell Solis products to existing MSME partners, enhancing product usage per client.
• Monitor transaction growth, track performance metrics and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Supervise Business Development Analysts focused on MSME accounts.
• Collaborate with the Product Team to refine MSME journeys and align offerings with client needs.
• Spot new partnership opportunities that expand the MSME portfolio.
• Provide insights on client performance to support retention and growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, relationship management or a related field.
• Proven track record of acquiring and managing business clients and driving revenue growth.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience with MSMEs or financial products is a plus.
• Preferable background in payment service providers, savings & loans, micro‑finance or mobile network operators.
