National Consultant – Entrepreneurship & Innovation (Accra)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a National Consultant to lead the coordination, continuity and strategic transition of its Startup Lab in Ghana. The consultant will work from the Accra office for four months, supporting the KOICA‑UNICEF Accelerating Entrepreneurship and Innovation initiative and ensuring the programme’s sustainability through effective hand‑over to the University of Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall programme coordination and strategic oversight for the Startup Lab.
• Manage the transition and institutionalisation of the Lab into the Ghana‑Korea Impact Centre at the University of Ghana.
• Facilitate partnerships across the entrepreneurship and technology ecosystem.
• Prepare donor reports, monitor progress and measure impact.
• Support knowledge management and end‑of‑project reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Public Administration, Computer Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced knowledge of entrepreneurship ecosystems, innovation management and startup acceleration in emerging markets.
• Strong understanding of youth entrepreneurship and digital skills development.
