New Installation Field Manager – HVAC

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HVAC New Installation Field Manager to lead the execution of HVAC installation projects from site mobilization through testing, commissioning and handover across multiple sites in the Accra & Tema region.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and supervise end‑to‑end HVAC installations, including VRF/VRV, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split and packaged units, ventilation, ductwork and chilled‑water systems.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource allocations and monitor progress, budgets and productivity.
• Coordinate daily site activities, manpower, subcontractors, equipment and material requirements.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, quality assurance and final handover, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and HSE standards.
• Lead and evaluate site engineers, supervisors, technicians and subcontractors, providing technical guidance and maintaining stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC/Refrigeration Engineering or related field.
• 5‑10 years of HVAC installation experience and at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven track record managing multi‑site HVAC projects from mobilization to handover.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, quality‑assurance procedures and construction‑site safety practices.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.

Required skills

• HVAC installation and commissioning of VRF/VRV, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split and packaged units, ventilation, ductwork and chilled‑water systems.
• Project planning, scheduling and cost control.
• Technical troubleshooting and decision‑making on site.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project scheduling tools and ERP/project management systems.
