About the role
Midway Hospital is looking for a dynamic and personable Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and efficient medication services to patients and wards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in accurately dispensing medications.
- Prepare medication labels, calculate quantities and organise stock for dispensing.
- Dispense drugs to patients and wards under pharmacist supervision.
- Maintain proper storage, stock control and verify incoming pharmaceutical supplies.
- Communicate relevant information during shift handovers.
- Support health and safety standards within the pharmacy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the pharmacist or management.
Required profile
- HND in Dispensing or Pharmacy Technology.
- Registered with the Pharmacy Council of Ghana.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital or community pharmacy.
- Strong attention to detail, professional appearance and good customer service.
