Primary Teacher – Full-time

About the role

We are building a pool of dedicated Primary Teachers to support South Halls Head Primary School throughout the 2026 school year and into Term 3 2027. The position can be permanent or fixed‑term, full‑time or part‑time, and will involve delivering the primary curriculum in an inclusive, evidence‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for primary students.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the wider community.
• Collaborate with staff to improve student outcomes and contribute to the school’s Quality Teaching Strategy.
• Reflect on practice, participate in professional learning communities and uphold school policies.

Required profile

• Qualified primary teacher with at least one month of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to whole‑child development and evidence‑based teaching approaches.
• Willingness to complete the mandatory CV template and address two AITSL domains at application.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) standards.
