Quality Assurance Engineer (Software QA)

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will protect Complete Farmer’s product ecosystem by preventing software defects from reaching users. The role combines risk‑based test planning, automation, and fast production‑quality learning across web, mobile, and field applications.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product roadmaps and risk analyses into quarterly quality strategies, defining test coverage, environments, tools, and exit criteria.
• Design, build, and maintain layered automated tests for APIs, services, components, integrations, and critical user‑interface flows.
• Execute functional, exploratory, and end‑to‑end testing of new and changed features across web, mobile, and internal applications.
• Validate API contracts, integrations with payment, messaging, identity, and logistics services, and ensure data‑migration integrity.
• Perform non‑functional testing including performance, resilience, security, and accessibility checks.
• Record defects with full reproducible details, facilitate triage, and prepare release‑quality reports with coverage gaps and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Experienced professional / engineer‑level with a strong background in software quality assurance.
• Reports to the Engineering Manager or Chief Technology Officer and works closely with product and engineering teams.
