Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will support the QA Supervisor in ensuring that raw materials, packaging, and finished products meet Kasapreko’s specifications. The role involves laboratory testing, equipment calibration, and monitoring of production processes to uphold product quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain records for all analytical equipment according to procedures.
• Perform analysis of incoming raw and packaging materials and document results.
• Prepare reagents and manage laboratory stock levels.
• Monitor in‑process quality of intermediate and finished products, applying the Right‑First‑Time concept.
• Control and record non‑conforming items following the non‑conformance procedure.
• Supervise cleaning‑in‑place (CIP) operations, equipment sanitation, and start‑up checks on packaging lines.
• Inspect product packaging integrity, including bottle condition, labeling, and net content.
• Oversee on‑line inspectors and auxiliary staff on quality and food‑safety matters.

Required profile

• A degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Laboratory Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a food‑manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 quality management system.
• ISO 2200 food safety standard.
• HACCP principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
