Sales Executive

About the role

Vanguard Life is seeking a full‑time Sales Executive to join its Accra office. You will be responsible for driving new business by matching clients with appropriate life insurance solutions and supporting them throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients, presenting Vanguard Life’s insurance products.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of leads, conduct client meetings and presentations.
• Prepare tailored proposals, negotiate terms and close sales to meet targets.
• Provide after‑sales support and ensure accurate record‑keeping in company systems.
• Collaborate with marketing, underwriting and customer service teams to deliver seamless service.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product details and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong customer relationship management and client service abilities.
• Clear, confident communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Basic understanding of insurance or financial services and willingness to learn.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills with attention to documentation detail.
• Ability to work on‑site in Accra, collaborate with diverse teams and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field; prior sales or insurance experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM tools (advantageous).
