About the role
Rising Academies is seeking a reliable, responsible, and trustworthy Custodian to oversee and safeguard school property, facilities, and assets when the school is not in regular operation. The role focuses on maintaining security, condition, and proper storage of school premises, and promptly reporting any loss, damage, or suspicious activity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight and safeguard school premises, facilities, and assets.
- Securely open and close the school, locking all classrooms, offices, and storage areas.
- Monitor the grounds for theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Report any loss, damage, or suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensure that school property is properly stored, accounted for, and maintained in good condition.
Required profile
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy individual.
- Commitment to the organization’s Child Protection Policy.
- Ability to work independently and follow security procedures.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
