Senior Internal Audit Assistant

About the role

The Ghana National Association of Teachers is looking for a Senior Internal Audit Assistant to strengthen its internal audit function. The successful candidate will work within the association’s audit team, applying accounting and auditing knowledge to support governance and risk management. This role is open to qualified teachers who meet the specific experience and age criteria.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

• Professional teacher not below the rank of Assistant Director 1.
• Minimum 4 years of experience at the current rank by the time of appointment.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Auditing Assistant.
• First degree from a recognized university in a relevant subject area.
• Age between 25 and 35 years at the time of appointment.
• In‑depth knowledge of accounting and auditing practice.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other analytical tools.
• Detail‑oriented with strong communication abilities.
• Commitment to ethics, confidentiality, professional standards and integrity.
