Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the development of the WusuWusu trading app from the ground up. You will shape the core experience used daily by traders, handling real‑time market data, mobile money transactions, account management, and live settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the end‑to‑end mobile architecture for a high‑frequency trading platform.
• Integrate real‑time data streams using WebSocket technology.
• Embed mobile money SDKs (MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, M‑Pesa) to enable seamless payments.
• Optimize performance for low‑end Android devices while ensuring a smooth iOS experience.
• Publish and maintain the app on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience, primarily with React Native.
• Strong understanding of real‑time data handling and WebSocket integration.
• Hands‑on experience with mobile money SDK integration.
• Proven track record of shipping production‑grade apps to both major app stores.
