Site Intern – NSP (Chemical Manufacturing)

About the role

We are looking for a Site Intern (NSP) to support a global specialised chemical manufacturer. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will provide both administrative and technical assistance on‑site, helping with equipment set‑up, cleaning, parameter setting and monitoring of chemical processes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and maintain dosing equipment.
• Monitor chemical consumption and verify product concentrations.
• Record water usage, dosage rates and ensure they stay within recommended limits.
• Control stock levels, raise alerts for re‑ordering and guarantee availability of chemicals at points of use.
• Complete consumption trackers for all chemicals and assist the Site Coordinator with analysis.
• Document technical incidents, help diagnose basic issues and provide simple training to operators.
• Maintain clear communication with site personnel and report any potential impacts on chemical usage.

Required profile

• BSc in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in a start‑up or pilot production environment is a plus.
• Good motor skills for fine assembly and defect identification.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow supervision.
