Social Marketer

About the role

We are looking for a Social Marketer who understands how culture moves online and can embed our brand into that flow. You will own Chowdeck’s presence across the internet, extending beyond our owned channels to capture earned reach and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop social distribution plans for every major marketing campaign, targeting conversations where they happen.
• Manage Chowdeck’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Snapchat, Facebook and YouTube, creating platform‑specific strategies and publishing calendars.
• Lead real‑time participation in cultural moments, operating social war rooms and producing reactive content within minutes.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with UGC creators, meme pages, micro‑influencers, campus creators and entertainment blogs.
• Oversee community engagement, respond to comments, encourage user‑generated content and escalate customer issues.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters and videographers to brief and create distribution‑optimized content.
• Develop toolkits, asset libraries and trend briefings to simplify creator collaborations.
• Report on organic reach, engagement, shares, saves, video completion and UGC volume.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (approximately 4 years) in social media marketing or digital communications.
• Strong understanding of online culture, trends and how to leverage them for brand visibility.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with creators and community pages.
• Ability to work quickly in fast‑moving environments and deliver reactive content.
