Social Media & Retail Assistant (Creative Studio)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media and Retail Assistant to join Ananse Studios in Accra. The role blends content creation, retail activation and studio hospitality, helping the studio showcase African creativity and drive sales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the studio’s Instagram, TikTok and Facebook channels, planning and publishing posts, Reels, Stories and videos.
• Capture high‑quality photos and video footage of designers, products, events and behind‑the‑scenes moments.
• Maintain a content calendar, respond to comments and direct messages, and analyse performance metrics.
• Drive foot traffic through retail promotions, pop‑up events, product launches and collaborations with neighbouring businesses.
• Create and market sales packages, track sales against targets and identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure the studio space is welcoming, visually aligned with the Ananse brand, and that visitors receive a memorable experience.

Required profile

• Passionate about African creativity and able to translate studio moments into engaging stories.
• Customer‑focused, commercially minded and comfortable interacting with visitors, influencers and designers.
• Proactive, able to juggle multiple tasks and take initiative without constant supervision.
