Student Research Internship – AI Technical Writing

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic university students to join our research team as Volunteer Technical Writing Interns focused on Artificial Intelligence. This position offers a unique chance to develop a strong portfolio in AI research, technical communication, and scientific publishing while working closely with experienced researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit technical documentation, research papers, and literature reviews on AI topics.
• Summarize recent AI research papers covering LLMs, machine learning, computer vision, and related fields.
• Assist in drafting scientific articles, whitepapers, blog posts, and grant proposals.
• Conduct background research and fact‑checking for AI projects.
• Collaborate with researchers to improve clarity, structure, and citation quality.
• Format documents according to academic standards such as APA and IEEE.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university program (e.g., Computer Science, AI, Engineering, English, Journalism, Social Sciences, Law, Economics).
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence and ability to explain complex concepts in simple language.
• Excellent written English and a passion for writing and reading.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Docs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using reference managers such as Zotero or Mendeley.
