Superintendent, HRIS Support

About the role

The Superintendent, HRIS Support leads the Human Resource Information Systems function at the Obuasi Gold Mine, ensuring the platform runs smoothly, data remains accurate, and HR technology aligns with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer the core HRIS system and related applications, including monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordinating upgrades or fixes with Digital Technology.
• Support HRIS strategy by aligning systems with HR and business requirements, recommending improvements, and driving automation initiatives.
• Ensure accurate capture, processing, and integrity of operational and employee data; generate reports and analyses for decision‑making.
• Provide HRIS liaison services to HR, payroll, budgeting, Digital Technology, and other internal stakeholders, resolving issues and proposing practical solutions.
• Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate HRIS support personnel, participating in recruitment and ongoing capability development.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, audit, policy, regulatory, and industry standards, including implementation of HR SOX controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Systems, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in HRIS or related business systems roles.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and data‑management capabilities for accurate HR reporting.
• Proficiency with HRIS software and database management, particularly SAP SuccessFactors.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
