Supply Chain Manager / Business Planner (Flexible Packaging)

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager / Business Planner will oversee the end‑to‑end flow of materials for flexible packaging production, linking sales demand with manufacturing capacity to ensure efficient production, optimal inventory and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data and market trends.
• Lead monthly S&OP meetings with sales, finance and production to align capacity with customer requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks such as resin or film shortages and freight delays.
• Monitor Expected Delivery Dates (EDD) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) on a daily basis.
• Convert sales orders into production schedules, manage capacity across flexible packaging units and set realistic lead times.
• Resolve bottlenecks promptly to minimise downtime.
• Manage raw material sourcing, maintain optimal stock levels of inks, adhesives, chemicals, solvents, resins and films.
• Use supplier scorecards to evaluate reliability, quality and on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate internal and external vehicle resources to ensure timely deliveries and monitor OTIF performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.
