Captain – Embraer 190 (E190)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Captain to command our Embraer 190 aircraft on scheduled services from Accra and Tema. The role involves ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft, its occupants, and cargo while complying with all company and regulatory procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Command the aircraft and give all necessary commands to ensure safety of the aeroplane, passengers, crew and cargo.
• Conduct pre‑flight checks, verify weather minima, and confirm aircraft mass and balance are within limits.
• Follow all operational procedures and checklists as defined in the company’s Operations Manuals.
• Maintain accurate flight records and complete all required documentation after each flight.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, company policies and local laws.

Required profile

• Minimum 5,000 total flight hours, including 2,000 hours as Pilot‑in‑Command on the E190.
• Valid ICAO ATPL with E190 type‑rating (or Ghana ATPL) and a current Class 1 medical certificate.
• At least 3,000 hours on multi‑crew turbo‑prop or jet aircraft.
• Minimum ICAO Level 4 English proficiency and no criminal history (authenticated proof required for non‑Ghanaians).
