About the role

We are seeking a Tailoring & Garment Production Professional to join our team at HAPPY Program in Accra, Ghana. The role involves sewing, garment assembly, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sewing and garment assembly activities according to specifications.
• Carry out stitching, hemming, finishing, and related sewing tasks.
• Work with different fabrics and garment materials, following patterns, measurements, and instructions accurately.
• Ensure seams, stitches, and garment finishes meet required quality standards and inspect completed garments for consistency.
• Identify and correct sewing defects, meet daily production requirements, and maintain sewing equipment and work area.
• Collaborate with other members of the production team.

Required profile

• Proven practical sewing ability.
• Team‑oriented and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under production deadlines.

Required skills

• Sewing machine operation.
• Garment construction and finishing techniques.
• Fabric handling and knowledge of different materials.
• Pattern reading and measurement interpretation.
