Tax & Compliance Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Tax & Compliance Supervisor to lead our tax function in Takoradi. The role ensures accurate tax filings, supports audits and maintains compliance with Ghanaian tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file monthly and annual tax returns, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax and PAYE.
• Support tax audits by preparing required schedules, documentation and financial information.
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare annual Transfer Pricing returns and maintain supporting documentation for related‑party transactions.
• Review payment vouchers before audit to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Conduct periodic internal tax risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and organized tax records and supporting documentation for reporting and audit purposes.
• Perform other tax and finance‑related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a recognized institution.
• Chartered Tax Practitioner qualification (MCITG).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax audit operations.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, PAYE and Transfer Pricing requirements.
• Good analytical, organizational and communication skills.
