Teaching Internship with monthly stipend

About the role

This full‑time teaching internship provides aspiring educators with hands‑on classroom experience at a Cambridge‑aligned school in Kumasi. Interns will work closely with lead teachers to support lesson delivery, classroom management and student engagement for learners aged 9 to 19.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering lessons aligned with Cambridge standards.
• Support classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
• Prepare teaching materials and facilitate learning activities.
• Provide individual or small‑group support to students during lessons and homework review.
• Help with basic assessment tasks and record‑keeping under supervision.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school events.
• Receive mentorship and constructive feedback to develop professional teaching skills.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in education and a genuine interest in working with learners aged 9‑19.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma or recognised training in education or a related field.
• Ability to plan and support lesson planning and curriculum development in line with Cambridge standards.
• Clear, respectful communication skills for interacting with students, families and staff.
• Organisational reliability, willingness to learn from feedback and adapt in a structured school environment.
• Comfortable working on‑site in Kumasi and collaborating within a diverse, multicultural community.
• Familiarity with Cambridge curricula or international school settings is an advantage.
