Technical Operator

About the role

The Technical Operator will work on‑site in Accra, ensuring smooth operation of the bamboo pulp production line. This full‑time position involves setting up machinery, monitoring performance, and maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate production equipment for bamboo pulp manufacturing.
• Perform routine checks, daily maintenance, and support preventive maintenance schedules.
• Record production data accurately and report any equipment issues promptly.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimise production efficiency and minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in maintenance and preventive maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Background in manufacturing environments with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Ability to work on‑site in a shift‑based or continuous production setting.
• Basic mechanical or technical aptitude and strong attention to detail.

• Ability to train or support training on equipment operation and safety.
