Telesales Officer (Remote)

About the role

The Telesales Officer is a full-time remote position responsible for driving sales through outbound calls to prospective and existing clients. The role covers presenting services, understanding customer needs, explaining solutions and closing sales in line with company targets.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on leads and close sales according to company targets.
• Maintain detailed records in CRM systems.
• Coordinate with sales operations and logistics teams so that onboarding and service delivery run smoothly.
• Handle customer inquiries, address objections and give accurate information on pricing, processes and service features.
• Produce regular performance reports and follow call scripts and quality standards.
• Improve performance continuously based on feedback.

Required profile

• Strong sales and sales operations skills, with experience in telesales or inside sales.
• Excellent customer service skills, focused on building trust and long-term client relationships.
• Clear spoken and written English and active listening.
• Analytical skills to understand client needs and interpret performance data.
• Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet, managing time and priorities independently.
• Integrity, resilience and motivation to meet and exceed sales targets.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems, call center tools or basic sales software is an advantage.
• Experience in logistics, e-commerce or fulfillment services in African markets is a plus but not required.
