Territory Sales Manager

About the role

The Territory Sales Manager will lead sales, collection and market development activities across the Accra and Tema region, aligning territory plans with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual, quarterly and monthly territory business plans to achieve sales, collection and profitability targets.
• Analyse territory performance, identify gaps and take corrective actions to improve results.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, farmer groups and other key stakeholders.
• Drive collections, monitor credit exposure and implement account‑specific collection plans.
• Execute territory marketing plans, product promotions and farmer engagement programmes.
• Lead, coach and develop the territory sales team, setting performance expectations and monitoring KPIs.
• Provide accurate forecasts, reports and market intelligence to support business planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, agricultural engineering, business administration, marketing or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development or territory management, with proven supervisory experience.
• Track record of achieving sales targets, growing customer portfolios and managing collections.
• Knowledge of Ghanaian agro‑chemical, seed or fertilizer markets is an advantage.
