Tipper Truck Driver – Full-time, Accra & Tema

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in the Tema area (Accra & Tema region) and involves safely operating tipper trucks to transport sand, gravel and other construction aggregates to and from designated sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload bulk materials safely, adhering to weight and balance limits.
• Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery records.
• Report mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, loaders and other team members.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well‑maintained.

Required profile

• Professional experience operating tipper trucks or heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy‑duty truck licence).
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and road‑safety standards.
• Ability to read and follow delivery instructions and communicate clearly with dispatch.
• Reliability, punctuality and willingness to work extended hours or shifts.
