UX Designer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for a UX Designer to shape the way engineers interact with autonomous agents that suggest code changes. You will own the research and interaction design of the review surface where engineers evaluate, accept, or reject AI‑generated fixes.

Key responsibilities

• Design the review experience for code‑change proposals, including acceptance, rejection, and revision flows.
• Conduct research with engineers and QA leads to understand trust dynamics in automation.
• Create wireframes, interaction specs, and high‑fidelity prototypes that translate research insights into usable designs.
• Prototype and test patterns for agent status, uncertainty, and failure states.
• Extend and maintain the design system with components specific to reviewing machine‑generated work.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams from problem framing to shipped experience.
• Leverage AI tools daily to accelerate the research‑to‑prototype cycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing complex product flows end‑to‑end.
• Portfolio that demonstrates research influencing design decisions.
• Strong grasp of research methods, from interviews to usability testing.
• Ability to move from research findings to wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Comfort working with engineers and designing for technical users.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability to a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with design systems and component‑level thinking.
• Experience using AI‑assisted design tools for rapid iteration.
