Warehouse In-charge (Assistant Manager / Senior Officer)

About the role

The Warehouse In-charge will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with SOPs, optimal space utilization, and safety standards. This senior position reports to senior management and leads a team of warehouse staff.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to warehouse SOPs and manage stock variances.
• Assign duties, supervise staff, and handle operational and administrative issues.
• Separate non‑saleable from saleable stock, control damage, expiry, and pilferage.
• Optimize storage space and resources, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Lead periodic stock audits, resolve audit queries, and manage RMA closures.
• Oversee loading/off‑loading of trucks, maintain FEFO in outbound movements, and provide timely MIS updates.
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping, safety, and security of goods.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives and implement innovative ideas.

Required profile

• Graduate, Higher Diploma or Diploma with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Team player with good communication, analytical mindset, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation and practical computing knowledge.
• Knowledge of good warehousing practices and ability to manage warehouse resources effectively.
