Youth Engagement & Learning Associate

About the role

The Youth Engagement & Learning Associate will drive youth empowerment programmes, focusing on learning and development, soft‑skill training and employability support across Accra and the Tema region. You will work closely with partners, sales and monitoring teams to ensure project goals are met and youth participants receive high‑quality training and job placement assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage learning and development programmes, including ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions and LMS coordination.
• Establish monitoring and evaluation systems to assess training effectiveness.
• Engage public and private stakeholders to build partnerships and secure funding.
• Facilitate soft‑skill, business and employability training for youth, including CV clinics and candidate assessments.
• Identify and match entry‑level job vacancies with programme participants, meeting monthly placement targets.
• Collect and analyse participant data in collaboration with MEL and other units.
• Support end‑to‑end event management and field content creation for the youth engagement portal.
• Develop and submit activity plans, maintain partner relationships and scout external candidates when needed.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with up to two years of relevant experience.
• Strong project management and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving placement targets.
