Zonal Sales Manager – Western Central

About the role

The Zonal Sales Manager will own revenue and distribution performance for the Western Central zone, driving growth of airtime reloads, SIM activations and subscriber acquisition. This role reports to senior sales leadership and works closely with distributors, DSAs and associate distributors across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sales strategies to convert airtime into reloads and achieve gross adds, SIM activation and churn reduction targets.
• Manage distribution of Telecel’s airtime, ensuring compliance with key performance indicators for distributors and agents.
• Lead acquisition efforts for mobile, T‑Cash, SOHO and fixed services, meeting subscriber growth targets.
• Identify and develop new acquisition channels and oversee T‑Cash distribution KPIs, including float, liquidity and active agents.
• Deliver product training to agents before launches and on an ongoing basis.
• Supervise a team of Area Account Developers and coordinate local trade marketing campaigns, activations and promotions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and distribution, preferably within telecom.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage confidential information responsibly.
