Account Executive - Enterprise Software

About the role

Zof is hiring a full-time Account Executive in Accra, Ghana, to own long, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals from first conversation to signed contract. The approach is agent-augmented selling: AI handles research, account intelligence and follow-up, so the Account Executive focuses on relationships, navigation and closing. The ideal candidate has closed enterprise software deals and wants to help define a repeatable sales motion.

Key responsibilities

• Own enterprise deals end to end, from prospecting through close
• Navigate long, multi-stakeholder buying processes
• Build pipeline using AI agents for research, intelligence and follow-up
• Partner with sales engineering for technical proof at the right moments
• Forecast honestly and manage a disciplined pipeline
• Negotiate and close contracts with enterprise buyers
• Feed market and competitive signals back to product and leadership
• Help build the repeatable playbook for enterprise sales

Required profile

• Experience closing enterprise software deals
• Credibility with both technical evaluators and executive buyers
• Strong discovery, navigation and negotiation skills
• Willingness to use AI agents deeply in the sales motion
• Disciplined pipeline and forecast hygiene
• Excellent written and verbal communication, high ownership and resilience
• Comfort in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

Nice to have

• Experience selling AI, developer tools, QA or infrastructure software
• Experience in founder-led or first-AE sales environments
• Experience selling into engineering or IT leadership
• A track record of building territory from scratch
