Account Manager - Mineral Processing

About the role

Bradken, a global leader in wear solutions and custom-engineered products for the resources sector, is looking for an Account Manager for its Mineral Processing business. The role is based in Accra and works remotely, with regular travel to customer and mining sites across West Africa. It involves building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and helping customers solve operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Build and strengthen customer relationships through regular engagement and maintain high customer satisfaction
• Deliver sales and gross margin targets by managing customer accounts and supporting regional sales planning
• Develop and run customer engagement plans in Salesforce, keeping site visits, opportunities, quotes and proposals accurate
• Analyse market performance, competitor activity and customer requirements to find growth opportunities
• Work with Sales Support, Product Development and other units to deliver customer solutions and support product trials
• Monitor account performance, forecasts and outstanding invoices and improve sales processes

Required profile

• Demonstrated sales and account management experience in the mining industry or a closely related sector
• Experience developing customer relationships and managing complex sales cycles in industrial or technical environments
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing high-value accounts
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and sales performance management
• Knowledge of mining operations, mineral processing, wear solutions or related products
• Willingness to travel extensively across West Africa
• English communication ability and legal right to work in Ghana; no visa or work permit sponsorship available
