Accountant (Full-Time)

About the role

The Accountant will manage day‑to‑day financial operations for AGROHAO GHANA in Kumasi. This on‑site, full‑time position involves recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and supporting management with accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Prepare, review and present financial statements.
• Handle budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring and financial forecasting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including revenue recognition for digital fare payments.
• Assist with tax preparation, audit documentation and compliance.
• Implement internal controls and collaborate with other departments for financial insights.

Required profile

• Strong background in general accounting, bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
• Experience preparing financial statements and managing budgets.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, audit processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICA) is a plus.
