Advocacy & Campaigns Coordinator

About the role

The Advocacy & Campaigns Coordinator will design, coordinate and drive public advocacy campaigns for World Vision Ghana, with a focus on leading the ENOUGH Campaign and supporting emerging national and global initiatives. Reporting to the CAPI Manager, the role translates advocacy priorities into high‑impact campaigns that shift attitudes, mobilise communities and influence policy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement evidence‑based advocacy strategies that align with campaign objectives.
• Lead the ENOUGH Campaign and coordinate additional public advocacy efforts.
• Produce high‑quality advocacy materials such as policy briefs, position papers, parliamentary submissions and open letters.
• Engage with government decision‑makers, parliamentary committees and regulatory bodies to advance campaign priorities.
• Represent World Vision in policy dialogues, sector working groups and inter‑agency forums.
• Build and sustain broad‑based coalitions of NGOs, community groups, faith communities, youth organisations and academic partners.
• Monitor legislative and policy developments in Ghana, providing timely analysis to senior management.
• Activate networks of civil‑society actors, media partners and public supporters to amplify campaign reach.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and executing advocacy or public‑campaign initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Ghanaian policy‑making processes and government structures.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, civil‑society organisations and media partners.
• Excellent written communication skills for producing policy briefs, position papers and public statements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, faith‑based environment.
