Assets Manager

About the role

The Assets Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of the company’s assets, from acquisition through disposal, ensuring accurate records and optimal utilization. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Accra and works closely with finance, operations and vendor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update the asset register, including tagging and documentation.
• Conduct physical verifications of assets and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with finance to support budgeting, forecasting and depreciation reporting.
• Develop, enforce and continuously improve asset management policies and internal controls.
• Manage relationships with vendors providing asset‑related services.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and analytics for senior management.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in asset management, logistics, facilities management or a similar role.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail, integrity and reliability when handling company property.
• Willingness to travel and conduct regular on‑site asset inspections.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel).
• Experience using asset management or ERP systems for tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles related to fixed assets and depreciation.
