About the role
The Assistant Cost Controller will support the Cost Controller in managing food and beverage expenses for a busy hotel environment. This role ensures accurate cost reporting, stock management, and adherence to cost‑control procedures across all outlets.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile store reports with accounting records.
- Prepare daily beverage reconciliation reports.
- Prepare and analyse monthly food and beverage cost reports.
- Observe and perform stock counts in all stores and outlets.
- Review store requisitions to ensure procedural compliance.
- Maintain par stock levels in bars and prevent over‑issues.
- Control food cost and assist the chef with menu costing.
- Implement all cost‑control procedures.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Required profile
- HND or 1st degree in Accounting/Economics, or CIMA Part 2 (or related qualification).
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar cost‑control role.
