Assistant Lecturer (Teaching Position)

About the role

The Koforidua Technical University is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Lecturer. The appointment is a teaching and non‑teaching staff role within a range of departments across the Faculties of Engineering, Applied Science and Technology, Business and Management Studies, and Health and Allied Sciences. The contract is temporary for two years and may be renewed for an additional two‑year period.

Key responsibilities

• Perform teaching duties, including lectures, tutorials and practical sessions, as assigned by the department.
• Support non‑teaching activities such as curriculum development, assessment and departmental administration.
• Participate in research, community outreach and other academic initiatives relevant to the department.

Required profile

• Research Master’s degree in a relevant field of specialization.
• Demonstrable industrial experience or competency‑based training (CBT) skills.
• Completed National Service.
• Membership of a recognised professional body is an advantage.
