Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Engineering

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks a qualified Senior Lecturer to join its Faculty of Engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and community service within one of the engineering departments, supporting the university’s mission to deliver high‑quality ICT education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the chosen engineering discipline.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and research activities.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in recognized journals.
• Participate in curriculum development and faculty governance.
• Engage in community outreach and professional service activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or related field.
• Either previously appointed as Senior Lecturer at a recognized university, or a minimum of four years of lecturing experience with at least six peer‑reviewed publications.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
