About the role
The Assistant Paints Chemist will work on‑site in Tema supporting the laboratory and production teams. This full‑time position involves testing paint formulations, ensuring quality standards and assisting research and development activities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct analytical tests on paint products to verify performance and compliance.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and test reports.
- Support R&D projects by preparing samples and assisting experiments.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Assist in colour‑matching tasks and other routine laboratory duties.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques.
- Experience with quality control and analytical testing is preferred.
- Knowledge of colour‑matching processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
