About the role
The Ghana Communication Technology University invites applications for an Associate Professor position within its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The role involves contributing to teaching, research, community service, and faculty development in one of the designated departments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and tutorials in the chosen department.
- Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high‑quality research and publish in recognized journals.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic program review.
- Engage in community outreach and professional service activities.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in a relevant field of specialization.
- Current appointment as Associate Professor at a recognized university, or a Senior Lecturer with at least four years of experience seeking promotion.
- Minimum of ten publications in recognized scholarly journals.
- Three referees who can attest to academic and research competence.
