ICTx Program Tutor – National Service (Kumasi)

About the role

Ed Emporia is seeking an ICTx Program Tutor (National Service) to join its team in Kumasi. You will deliver hands‑on digital skills and STEAM lessons to learners in partner schools, using project‑based activities that focus on computing, coding and digital literacy.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate ICT and STEAM lessons and workshops for small groups of students.
• Prepare teaching materials, set up equipment and create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Track learner progress, provide feedback and support outreach events.
• Collaborate with the Ed Emporia team to continuously improve teaching approaches.
• Assist in setting up classrooms and lab equipment on‑site in Kumasi.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of ICT, digital skills and basic programming concepts.
• Interest in STEAM education and hands‑on learning activities.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence managing small groups.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kumasi and collaborate closely with the team.
• Good organizational habits for lesson preparation and progress tracking.
• Eligibility for National Service and academic background in ICT, Computer Science, Education or a related field.
• Prior tutoring, teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.
