Associate Professor – Faculty of Engineering

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks a qualified academic to join its Faculty of Engineering as an Associate Professor. The position is open to candidates in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics & Statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Conduct and publish research in reputable journals.
• Engage in community service and contribute to faculty development initiatives.
• Participate in departmental and university committees.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or mathematical discipline.
• Current appointment as Associate Professor at a recognized university, or at least four years of experience as a Senior Lecturer.
• Minimum of ten publications in recognized scholarly journals.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
