B2B Sales Executive

About the role

Farming In Africa (FIA) is looking for a full-time, on-site B2B Sales Executive based in Accra. The role drives business growth by selling FIA's agribusiness solutions to corporate clients, institutions and key partners in the agricultural value chain. It involves identifying and qualifying leads, building relationships with existing and prospective clients, and closing deals in line with sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads, and develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to present FIA's products and services
• Prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and close deals
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and technical teams so client needs are understood and met
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline, performance and market feedback
• Carry out market research, visit clients and demonstration farms, attend industry events and represent FIA professionally

Required profile

• Strong B2B sales and business development skills, including lead generation, relationship management and deal closing
• Knowledge of agribusiness, livestock or agricultural value chains and an understanding of farmers' and stakeholders' needs
• Skills in client presentation, pitching and negotiation
• Clear written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness or a related field is beneficial
