Baker – Full-time Bakery Position

About the role

The Baker role at Peng and Tasty Bakery is a full‑time, on‑site position based in New Achimota. You will be responsible for preparing, mixing and baking a variety of breads, pastries and cookies while maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and bake bread, pastries, and cookies according to established recipes and production schedules.
• Measure ingredients accurately, operate baking equipment and ovens, and monitor baking times and temperatures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, clean and sanitize equipment after use, and follow all food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Track ingredients and supplies to support inventory management and record production data for reporting.
• Ensure products meet quality and safety standards, adjusting processes as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and customer demand.

Required profile

• Solid experience in bakery operations and baking skills.
• Strong food preparation knowledge with safe handling and hygiene practices.
• Ability to produce a variety of bread products with consistency and quality.
• Experience baking cookies and similar pastry items to defined standards.
• Basic understanding of baking equipment and ovens.
• Attention to detail, time management and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
