Bilingual Sales Officer – Renewable Energy (English/French)

About the role
We are looking for a results‑driven Bilingual Sales Officer to expand our renewable‑energy portfolio across French‑speaking West and Central Africa. Based in Accra, you will promote solar and hybrid power solutions to commercial, industrial and public‑sector clients.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities throughout Francophone Africa.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing and post‑sales support.
- Conduct market segmentation, customer profiling and territory mapping to guide growth strategy.
- Deliver persuasive sales pitches, product demonstrations and technical‑commercial presentations.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts, distributors, EPCs, government agencies and corporate buyers.
- Provide expert advice on product selection, system design and energy‑cost optimisation.
- Monitor competitor activity, emerging opportunities and industry trends; report weekly and monthly to the Country Manager.
- Collaborate with engineering, logistics, finance and marketing teams to ensure seamless order execution and market promotion.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Marketing or a related field.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in renewable‑energy or technical power solutions.
- Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in multi‑country environments.
- Strong network within Francophone West and Central African markets is an advantage.
