Mortgage Banker – Full‑time, Ho (Ghana)

About the role

Eastpak Distributers is seeking a full‑time Mortgage Banker to join its Ho branch. You will work directly with clients, assess their financing needs, explain mortgage options and guide them through the complete loan application and approval journey.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate borrowers' creditworthiness and conduct risk assessments.
• Prepare, review, and manage loan documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with underwriting, compliance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth processing.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective borrowers, follow up on leads, and provide regular status updates.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience while supporting overall branch performance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending, origination, processing and compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with residential mortgages, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
• Solid understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment and loan finance.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex products clearly.
• Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet performance targets.
