About the role
The Branch Manager is accountable for the profitability of the Stadium Branch in Kumasi and for delivering an excellent customer experience. The role oversees all business and operational activities, ensuring that bank‑defined processes, procedures and standards are consistently applied.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the branch strategy and budget to drive financial performance.
- Identify and capture growth opportunities in the local market, increasing Ecobank’s market share.
- Collaborate with Business Segments and product partners to expand wallet share and achieve cross‑sell targets.
- Review account plans, grow low‑cost deposits, and manage the cost‑income ratio.
- Ensure credit approvals comply with bank policy and monitor loan performance within approved limits.
- Conduct regular performance and profitability reviews, keeping NPL and PDO ratios within budgeted limits.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through quality service, branch ambience, and digital channel utilization.
- Coordinate with internal units (CIB, Trade, Risk, EBS, etc.) to promote and drive business.
Required profile
- Committed to ensuring that all branch staff adhere to the bank’s defined processes, procedures and standards.
- Responsible for overall branch profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Must oversee credit approval memoranda and ensure loan accounts operate within approved limits.
