Business Development Representative

About the role

Mackola is seeking an energetic Business Development Representative to help launch its high‑growth B2B commerce platform in Ghana. You will be the first point of contact for new suppliers, guiding them through onboarding and ensuring they adopt the digital ordering system.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to potential suppliers across restaurants, hotels, shops, and distributors.
• Visit suppliers in person, demonstrate the Mackola platform, and create their accounts.
• Train supplier teams on using the mobile and web application.
• Follow up with existing suppliers to drive adoption and gather feedback.
• Report insights directly to management and provide weekly activity and performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer relations.
• Comfortable meeting business owners and decision‑makers.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Based in or around Accra and own a smartphone.
