CBU Operations Director – Ghana & Francophone

About the role

The CBU Operations Director will lead end‑to‑end operations for the Ghana and Francophone markets, driving operational excellence across supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and sustainability initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, the role connects customer, consumer, and regulatory insights to operational execution.

Key responsibilities

• Translate short‑ and medium‑term business priorities into clear operational strategies.
• Lead operational transformation projects to improve agility, efficiency, and performance.
• Own the full operational cost structure, driving productivity and cost‑optimization programs.
• Oversee supply chain functions including procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• Ensure operational excellence across manufacturing, logistics, and customer operations, monitoring KPIs for service delivery, cost, waste reduction, and efficiency.
• Drive sustainability and digital transformation initiatives across all operational functions.
• Strengthen operational planning processes to improve forecast accuracy and business responsiveness.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing within a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage large‑scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost management and productivity improvement.
• Excellent communication skills to align local needs with regional and global stakeholders.
